Project Overview
This garden makeover by Gloucestershire Garden Design took place on a relatively new build property in Quedgeley. The building is around six years old, and the garden needed some work to fit our clients, Craig and Kelly’s lifestyle.
The main issue with this landscape was the slope, which ran through the entire garden and caused issues in terms of flooding, drainage and design. To counter this, we focused our garden design on levelling the garden and included features such as:
Raised Beds
Against the existing fence, we installed raised beds around the lawn area to level the area and allow plenty of space for plants and decor.
Porcelian Patio
Using a combination of hard-wearing, modern materials, we installed a new patio and pathway in the levelled garden as the centre of entertainment. The sleek porcelain patio is designed to withstand the test of time and complements the contemporary appeal of the home and garden perfectly.
Pergola Installation
We installed a large 3×3 metre Titan pergola with a roof shade to allow for all-weather entertainment and seating in this new garden, when the furniture arrives.
Fire Pit
A contemporary 1×1 metre modern fire pit has been designed and installed in the centre of the seating area for ambience and comfort.
Artificial Grass Installation
For natural appeal and better functionality, artificial turf has been installed to give the children room to play and finish the garden design.
